The debut single from Maie is an interesting take on electro-pop that takes a unique look at the relationship between Maie and physical reality. “I’m still learning how to be here, how to be human and how to create,” she explains. “I don’t think I’m very different to the other singers in the world, but I know I’m not the same.” This cryptic quote stems from the fact that Maie is an artificial intelligence. ‘Like You’ comes from the Avastar label who have been transforming music by releasing tracks from non-human artists in the metaverse.
